WATER-RELATED DISEASE IS THE WORLD’S LEADING CAUSE OF HUMAN ILLNESS

The World Health Organization estimates that 3.4 million people, mostly children, die annually from water-related diseases. The World Bank estimates that ten percent (10%) of the world’s 7.7 billion people, or approximately 770 million people, live in extreme poverty surviving on less than US$1.90 a day. UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, estimates that roughly 70 million people are internally displaced of which 26 million are living in refugee camps. Based on these numbers, around 840 million people or 140 million families, assuming six  persons per family, have little or no access to safe drinking water.

The goal of our Water For All Initiative (WFAI) is to raise US$6.02 billion to provide 140 million OWF-GF1-16L Dispenser Kits to 140 million families (840 million less fortunate) across the world. WAFI’s goal is to eliminate all water borne illness which represent over 50% of all the illnesses on our planet. Read more about our solution.

With each donation of US$43.00, a recipient family will receive an OWF Humanitarian 16L (liter) Kit, which consists of (a) one (1) unit OWF-GF-16L gravity flow water dispenser, and (b) twelve (12) units of OWF-GF1 Filter Packs, which will produce 8,400 liters of safe drinking water for a family of six (6) for an entire year. WATER FOR SCHOOLS INITIATIVE

Up to 30 percent of schools around the world don’t have access to drinking water – and many of the schools that do have access have drinking water contaminated with microbiological and other contaminants. The goal of the Water for School Initiative (WFSI) is to provide safe drinking water to school children in impoverished areas around the world.

With each donation of US$75.70, a recipient school will receive an OWF Humanitarian 30L (liter) Kit, which consists of (a) one (1) unit OWF-GF-30L gravity flow water dispenser, and (b) twenty-four (24) units of OWF-GF1 Filter Packs, which will produce 16,800 liters of safe drinking water for fifty (50) school children for an entire year. For a donation of US$44.50, we supply the same fifty (50) school children two (2) units of OWF-GF1 Replacement Kits providing another one-year supply of replacement OWF-GF1 Filters.
